Bookings
Bookings are provisionally held on request. Until a booking is confirmed Company reserves the right to release the booking to another party.
Once a session has been confirmed in writing (over email or via a booking form) Company may invoice you for the booking fee (in full) for any cancellations. Charges may be waived at the discretion of the studio manager only.
Studio use
A studio day is 10 hours. Overtime will be charged per hour after this time at the following rate: 10% of the booking fee and 10% of the engineering fee. Set-up time is included in your studio day.
⚠️ Company is located in a residential area. No drums or bass cabs can be recorded between 11pm and 7am.
Credit
Please ensure all recording staff are credited on releases where appropriate. Email for details if required.
The company may mention or feature your artists (or their releases worked on at The Hutch) on the Company site or socials. Please let us know in your reply to this confirmation if you do not wish to be mentioned.
Files
All session files will remain the property of the studios until payment has been made in full. Please make sure payment is settled by the last day of your session if you wish to leave with your recorded material (unless prior arrangements are made with the studio manager).
Company will hold all your files for the period of one month after session completion. After which time, all files may be deleted permanently from our hard drives.
Payments
⚠️ If you do not have an account with us, the Company requires payment in full before the start of the session along with credit/debit card details to secure the booking.
The company reserves the right to take payment from the card if payment is not received in full before the session.
Payment fees exclude VAT @20% where applicable.
⚠️ Payments must be made by credit card will incur a **% (1.45% + £0.30) credit card fee except American Express which is **% (3.5%).
⚠️ All PayPal payments incur a **% (2.9% + £0.30) fee. Payment from outside the UK must cover all transaction fees and invoices are to be paid in GBP.
You’ll need to update the percentages marked with ** and check the fees if they differ for your setup.
Limitation of liability
Company will not be liable for injury, loss or damage to equipment or premises that is caused by you or any of your personnel, nor for any loss or damage to your equipment. The company will not be liable for any equipment left on the premises after session completion.
